Today, in the capable hands of Spencer Cox, Speedsport enjoys a reputation for quality Porsche maintenance and race preparation that extends throughout the entire northeast.

Spencer was originally trained in Southern California in the late '70s by Klaus Holthas, one of the most respected Porsche tuners on the west coast. Some time later, as the owner of DP Motorsports in Hicksville, Long Island he was invited to the DP factory in Cologne where he received extensive training on the Porsche turbo engine and suspension techniques.

He is active on the racing and D.E. circuits both as a mechanic for customer cars, a driver and an instructor at all northeast tracks.

Although Spencer prides himself on being very "hands on," he has personally trained a staff of competent, caring mechanics.
